I am here to answer your question "Is Animoto better than Photobucket at making slideshows?". Well both of the sites are generally similar, but there are some key differences. I will tell you these key differences and how to overcome some obstacles and witch one you would prefer to use.
Animoto is the first site I used out of the two sites. Animoto is a simple site anyone can operate. You can create a slideshow by simply uploading you pictures from your files, the internet, or you USB drives and much more. After that you can apply your preferred music. Using animoto is as simple as that. Animoto is a simple website to use and to understand.
Photobucket is the second site I used. Photobucket is a slightly more challenging one to use. It is not as simple as Animoto because you have to first have to upload your images to your library. The you have to transfer them into a album. I could not get the embed tool to work so I have a link for my slide show.

In my opinion they are both really good at making slide shows for pictures, but I prefer Animoto better than Photobucket because it was simpler to understand and I found that it was also simpler to navigate through it. This question is a preference thing. They have a lot of things similar they both produce slideshows, they both are decent sites, they both let you embed your slide show even though I could not get it work on Photobucket. They have a lot of similarities like I just listed, but they also have differences like how Animoto was easy to upload pictures and navigate and how Photobucket had a harder time to navigate around Animoto.
